2020 was an unusual year to say the least. The country ‘locked down’ three times from the first quarter of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To be safe, conform to regulations and not overload the NHS we couldn’t hold any of our social and community events. Instead we watched from the perimeters when ECSRA, the Garden Sub-Committee, a local resident (all volunteers) on various occasions initiated motivational and cheering music, to awaken us from our cocooned existance.
But still the ECSRA Committee remained active, albeit from a home base for 90% of the time, as set out in the Chairman’s Report and other contributions in the annual Magazine.
