Earl’s Court Square Residents' Association AGM and Treasurers’ Report for the Accounts ending 31st December 2025
Kevin Colgan of The Garden Sub-Committee reviewed the accounts and confirmed he is happy with them.
In terms of cash the RA finished off the year with an small decrease in the balance after accruals and receivables are taken into account compared to the end of last year.
The main variances this year are: -
Income
Subscriptions. Slightly up.
BBQ. Down. We had fewer people attend compared to last year.
Hanging baskets. Down. We used up the balance that was carried forward from previous years.
S. E. Arm Planters. Down. We used up the balance that was carried forward from previous years.
RBK&C and CLLL. Received for planters/baskets for the Villas on ECR, offsetting the cost. The reason for this is we are an accredited R.A. and they are within our footprint.
Expenditure
Increases on 2024;
AGS as we actually paid for the wine at the AGM.
Hanging Baskets. There was an increase, but not as much as we anticipated. RBK&C and CLLL see above.
ECSRA Jubilee banners, a one off, which you can see here.
Decreases on 2024;
AGM. We as the committee supplied all the food and drinks.
BBQ. Costs slightly down on last year, we used up the charcoal that was shown as prepaid in 2024.
Insurance. Looked around, obtained a lower quote with additional cover.
ECSRA Jubilee banners, a one off last year, which you can see here.
Accruals. None this year.
