2022 The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
For the 5th June celebrations, bunting went up around the Square, gazeboes positioned, tea and soft drinks set up in preparation to celebrate the wonderful milestone Her Majesty has reached.
Both Committee’s - the Earl’s Court Square Residents’ Association Committee (ECSRA) and the EC Garden Square Sub-Committee - joined forces to invite residents to bring a plate and have a feast, whilst listening to a brass band quartet providing happy melodies, entrancing, and dancing children adding to the neighbourly atmosphere.
Everyone who came was so generous. There were so many lovely cakes and ‘food goodies’, to fill us up and what was left, was commandeered by Katrina Quinton for the ‘Open Gardens Weekend’ that followed soon after.
